Courtesy of FusionArts Museum.FusionArts Museum is pleased to present re:CYCLE, a group exhibit which gives a whimsical nod to the Green Movement’s emphasis on recycling as a necessary ecological response to waste production in the 21 century.
Recycling is the third of the three R’s: Reduce, Reuse, Recycle. To recycle is to take an unwanted material, a product at the end of its useful life, and turn it into something useful again, often creating another product. In the case of FusionArts Museum’s latest exhibit the newly created products are works of multidisciplinary (or fusion) art. Each new artwork was created with the detritus of a cycle - motorcycle, bicycle, tricycle or scooter, a direct play on the show’s title and subject.
