CHASHAMA is pleased to present Tax-Free Art, an exhibition of art by more than three-dozen local artists. The show will take place in three separate community venues located on Avenue C between 10th and 11th Streets from August 15 through August 27, 2008. The event is free and open to the public.

Tax-Free Art is presented by chashama, Teneleven Tavern and Monk Thrift shop. Highlighting artists from chashama and Teneleven, we're bringing you art, music and performances for a "Loisaida" summer celebration. Alphabet City is an East Village community rich in culture and art that is part of what made the Village the destination for artists from around the world.
